As the first ever iteration of UGMUN held in November, UGMUN 2024 served as a pilot online conference catered towards international delegates, featuring the Historical Crisis Committee (HCC), UNCCPCJ, and UNEA. Our Guest-of-Honour, Professor Zhang Li from Amherst College, presented on the role of governmental and non-governmental organisations (NGOs) in social development. This initial foray into the MUN circuit both established UGMUN internationally and set a pivotal milestone for the conference’s future development and upsizing.
