What We Do

In line with our mission to make MUN accessible to students of all demographics, the UGMUN Foundation's Projects Department conducts specialised Model UN training for students in secondary schools. Through the department's operation, we have impacted over 150 students, reflecting our unwavering commitment, belief, and passion in our shared goal. Our current school partners include Canberra Secondary School, Yuhua Secondary School, and CHIJ St. Nicholas Girls' School, visited by our team of ~15 Under Secretary-Generals of Projects and Projects Staff that conduct monthly trainings at each institution.

What Our Delegates Say

Participating in UGMUN was a truly transformative experience for me. As someone who previously struggled with a fear of public speaking, the conference provided a supportive and intellectually stimulating environment that encouraged me to step outside of my comfort zone. Through engaging debates, structured discussions and so much more, I slowly gained confidence. Even though I didn't manage to participate much in the debates due to my social anxiety, UGMUN still helped me make friends!

What Our Delegates Say

As it was my first time at a MUN, I felt anxious because I didn’t understand some of the rules. However, it became fun and exciting. The people were kind and guided me when I faced difficulties. MUN expanded my knowledge and helped me understand more about global politics. Overall, it was an interesting experience, and I hope to join more programmes like this!

What Our Delegates Say

UGMUN 2025 was an eye-opening experience, and I grew a lot from it. Through my journey in UGMUN, it encouraged me to continue my journey in the MUN circuit, and I am excited to return to UGMUN this year. It was an experience that was more inclusive than other MUNs, and I felt that the team was truly there to help me learn. It was truly revolutionary and it was through my journey there that I have discovered more about myself, forged important friendships, and nurtured my interest in MUN.
